The Biomedicum research building, completed for Karolinska University in Sweden, one of the world's leading medical universities, known, among other things, for its Nobel Prize winners in medicine and physiology, has been awarded the title of Building of the Year 2019, according to Byggindustrin Magazine. It turns out that the best scientists in Europe have their hand not only on the pulse of the latest discoveries in medicine but also on our handrails!
